Stay Healthy Tip: Subungal Hematoma

So you slammed your finger in the door or you "stumped" your toe! Ouch! Now your finger or toe is throbbing and the pain is getting worse. There is blood under the nail. This is called a SUBUNGAL HEMATOMA. You doctor will drain the area using a "hot" scapel or large bore "hot" needle (i.e. stick a hole in it). You will feel immediate relief. Have A Healthy Day! (AND DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!!)
