My daughter has so much confidence in me...
We're at Opry
Mills play area and mall security began to escort a man out for sagging his
pants-- and he was right outside the play area. He started SHOUTING expletives
and lots of parents within the area looked REALLY scared! My son ran over to me
afraid and one mom pulled her son in close. The mom said, "Oh no... With
all the craziness in the world, I hope he doesn't have a gun!" Lu shouted, 'NOBODY HAS TO BE AFRAID OVER HERE IF HE
HAS A GUN BECAUSE MY MAMA HAS ONE IN HER PURSE, TOO!!!!! AND SHE WON'T LET
ANYBODY'S BABY GET HURT OVER HERE!" Of course I had to then calm them by saying
"I'm a police officer!" But I know one thing for sure... Lu is
absolutely sure that she's safe when mama-bear is nearby!!!!!

Kid's Say The Darndest Things...
I've got this habit of not eating when I sit
down at the table to feed the kids... So this was a conversation that took place with me and my daughter at the table-- and I cannot stop
laughing!
Daughter: "Mama, what are you gonna have for breakfast?"
Me: "I don't really know, Babe... I'll figure something out. Is your breakfast good?"
Daughter: "Yes ma'am! Thank you for cooking! They'll probably give the adults breakfast at church when they pass around that tray... What's on that tray, anyhow?"
Me: "I don't really know, Babe... I'll figure something out. Is your breakfast good?"
Daughter: "Yes ma'am! Thank you for cooking! They'll probably give the adults breakfast at church when they pass around that tray... What's on that tray, anyhow?"
Me: "No, Baby... That's not breakfast... That usually only happens on the first Sunday and we are drinking the blood of Jesus!"
...she paused and looked at me really strange. So I asked "What is it?"
Her eyes filled up with tears and she asked "So vampires are real? And
you're one of them?"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!! Man, I love being her mama!!!!!!!

Health Tip: Apparent Life Threatening Event ("ALTE")
An "Apparent Life Threatening Event"or ALTE is a scary diagnosis. It is often associated with unknown respiratory, cardiac, or seizure disorders in children. Caregivers will find patients lethargic, unresponsive, not breathing, or with a change in color. See your doctor immediately or go to the nearest emergency room if you find yourself in this situation!!!! Have A Healthy Day!!!!
